Taken in 1912 this is the crew of Wendur. She was lost on the seven stones 1912
Wendur, ON89956, four masted iron barque, built 1884 by Charles Connell, Scotsoun
2,045grt; 1,982 nrt; 280 x 42 feet; Registered Glasgow.
12th March 1912, she struck Seven Stones reef, on voyage from Port Pirie to Swansea, and foundered in deep water.
 
They look remarkbly unpreturbed for shipwrecked mariners. Maybe the times as they were,made people more stoic than we would experience today.
