Bound from last port Aruba, Dutch West Indies; first struck Crane Rocks at Caertillion Cove at 6pm; First off by lifeboat were 5 passengers, including mother and baby. The lifeboat went back to the ship and awaited light to get off the 38 crew members. The ship broke a leak, and the escaping oil flattened the waves; the crew were landed at 8am. The Tugs Seefalke and Noordzee, took the ship off the rocks and into Falmouth Harbour, where she was repaired. Lifeboat was Duke of York.
