The Blue Room was rebuilt between 1740 and 1750 as a srawing room on the site of the fifteenth century 'Chapel of Our Lady', which fell into disrepair and collapsed.
There's no need to be blue! This was Lady St Levan's favourite room and has a chair upon which the Queen sat. Apparently, all the ley lines pass through this room which was formerly a Lady Chapel and shrine to Our Lady, the mother of Christ.
