This drawing - presumably of the scene in the 19th Century - hangs in the Long Passage and shows the village on the Mount to be reasonably substantial.The causeway is fairly prominent.
No name or date given, sorry. However the mail coach is more likely to be around 1820-1830, looking at Cyril Noall's writings. The village is well defined and well developed. Interesting to note a coach and four on the causeway.
