Delivered October 2007; Built by yard Socarenam Boulogne. The patrol of 43.3 metres, sister to Jacques Fromentin Oudart, is based in Brest. Originally called Tévennec before being renamed, it replaces several border-guards, including that of St. Nazaire. The Kermorvan also takes over in Brest, from Rafale (DF49) and Avel Sterenn (DF46). Able to travel about 2,000 nautical miles at 12 knots (18 knots max speed), the new patrol boats equipped with two 12.7 mm machine guns and two machine guns of 7.62 mm. Manned by a crew of 16, these vessels general supervision (NSG) have two intervention Hurricane boats.
