Sitting at a table on a rooftop[ restraunt, we were treated the view of jumping dolphins and local fishermen. The dark area below this and the other boats is just a small part of a massive shoal of Sardines (Pilchards to us!) that stretched nearly five kilometres along the coast and was about 500 metres wide. They had been off this beach since last November and even though they were fished every day, never seem to reduce in numbers.
