The Royal Visit to Penzance. The Royal Osborne, with Princess Victoria on board, remained in Mount's Bay Friday night 22nd April 1903, and next morning proceeded to within a short distance of St. Michael's Mount, where the Princess landed, and spent some time in visiting the historic home of Lord St. Levan. Her Royal Highness expressed her delight with her visit. She was rowed to and from the yacht in Lord St. Levan's barge, the boatmen wearing their quaint livery. In the afternoon the yacht left for the Isles of Scilly, which were reached at half-past four. The Princess landed at Tresco for a short time.
