Pilot Gig Race - Falmouth

The event was governed by the tradition and skill and strength of the Pilot Gig and basic hard graft and staying power. You will notice names as Brabyn of Padstow; Pedn Billy of Helford; Messack of Truro;
Faith of Devoran; Melusine of Zennor; Energy of Falmouth; Tamarisk of Cadgewith; Lightning of Dartmouth; The Cream of Cornwall (Cotehele); Irene Too of Falmouth (private) Morlader of Penryn(part private); Old Harry of Swanage; Minnadhu of Rame; Essa of Caradon; Spy of Newquay; Defender of Charlestown; Kensa of Mount's Bay; Drake of Catterwater; Pollvarth of
