In order to assess the extent of work necessary, a series of pictures were taken by physically leaning out of the windows of the Chevy Chase; not now possible, I have no doubt. This is one such picture. (The rest merely showed the masonry).
This was before HSE, when people were credited with intelligence and common sense was a natural part of our living, primed with self preservation and the knowledge that, despite the fact that we had full insurance cover, we knew that if we did not take reasonable risks, we did not get the information that was vital for us and for our clients. This was a piece of cake compared to some risks I took.
WOW you are much braver than me!... it would be the camera pointing/leaning over the edge and not me.... and then I wouldn t of got such a good pic as you. laugh#
