The Priory Church, St Michael's Mount - 18May10

The organ was built by John Avery of Bristol in 1786 for Colonel Lemon, a Member of Parliament for Truro. He had an unfortunate habit of playing it late into the night and so his neighbours persuaded him to sell it in 1790 to Sir John St Aubyn. It was later divided into two parts so as not to obscure the rose window behind it.
