Blossom by the footpath which climbs from the Coombe to Pendennis Road. On closer inspection, I've noticed that this is in fact blackthorn and not hawthorn as I first believed; the nearby may trees have not yet blossomed. Still. I know where there'll be plenty of sloes this autumn!
