shop

Only been open a few months... not even long enough for a sign. This is the old D2 clothes shop (previously Fosters Men's wear) closing down! Welcome to Penzance!

Just thought I would play with Photo-Shop and see what I could do with this picture. Just for fun ::15:

Kasbas was closed for good this evening! I haven't placed this in the credit crunch section because the closure had nothing to do with recession.... Can't say any more than that.

Two days ago this window was emptied and nothing on display.... what's going on? Is rrrrrrichie right, shops are pretending to look like they are a closing down shop to attract bargain hunters. Isn't that what Priceless use to do...(all the time) and that ended in tears. Exciting stuff this.... :)

At the bottom of Alexandra Road in 1991. The shop is half its old size now.

This picture was supplied by Rose Hichens (Dairy shop St Clare) of Mrs Bernice Pearce 10 December 1973. Today its been converted in to a house. The shop was about three doors up from the Fountain inn on the opposite side of the road. You can see the reflection of St Clare flats in her windows.
