A warning about freezing temperatures and more snow and ice has been issued for Cornwall.
The Met Office has a severe weather warning in force and wintry showers of rain, sleet and snow are forecast overnight and into the weekend.
Motorists have been told to take extreme care when travelling.
Gritters have been out overnight, but Peter Tatlow from Cornwall Council Highways said ice could still form on treated roads.
Snow fell in parts of the county on Thursday, causing some travel disruption and reduced services at a few schools and day centres.
Cornwall Council has set up a dedicated snow webpage with information for residents on it.
