This months competition is called musical instrument... any idea why?, yep because you have to go and get a picture of a musical instrument . The best picture wins via your votes.

This months competition is the human body. You may upload three images. These can be nudes but mustn't be explicit sex acts. If you intend to upload a nude image please mark it as so. This way the image will only be available to be seen by those who choose.

This month’s competition is snapshot. Snapshop can be any action picture where the photograph represents a snapshot of the action. Members can upload a maximum of three images and voting will be done via a poll one week before the contest closes. Members who upload images must vote or they will not allow uploading the following month. Everyone has two votes and they can be used to vote once for you and once for someone else or how you please, but you may not vote more than once for yourself.

This months competition revolves around still life which is mostly inanimate objects. Still life can be any of the following or more: Bowl of fruit Plants/trees Objects and so on. This list isn't exhaustive... rather just an mind jog as to what kind of things to be looking at. Last month only a few members voted so the rules will change to make it more fun for all.

This month the competition theme is macro. Every camera and most mobile phones has a macro setting. Simply choose the flower symbol and get nice and close to the subject. Also unlike the other contests this year, macro can be done in doors. So if you are stuck in then get the camera out.

February 2011 Competition named “Troubled Youth” Here are a few basic rules for this competition:- You can upload up to a maximum of 3 Pics, and the title “Troubled Youth” can be your own interpretation. So in other words it needn’t be a picture of youth's You must write a small introduction for your picture sharing any special techniques used. The objective of this completion is not only to have the winning picture, but to share knowledge with each other and improve our photography skills. Sharing skills could also mean the position you stood to get a particular angle, the settings of the camera, the time of day… in fact anything you think would be relevant. The voting will be done through the image rating & views the final decision will be down to HH, And yes you may vote on your own pictures. Simply the picture with the highest rating & number of views is the winner. In the event of a draw members will be asked to vote a winner from the pictures in the draw. The winner will receive a bottle of wine (yum, yum) but you must come and collect , (unless you are overseas, and an alternative will be sent out to you, non breakable prize) and if the competition is successful we will hold them regularly.
