Built on the grounds of Treneere Manor at a at cost of £146,000 in April 1937. The land was rumoured to be purchased for as little as £8,000. Built by contractors E. Dennis and son, and the roads and sewers by contractors Northcott and Sons of Exeter. Building Treneere Estate
