Some costly pasties in this St Ives street seem designed to feed the wealthier, unsuspecting visitors! However, perhaps they include a surcharge for insurance against gulls!
Have to say this place does sell decent pasties, not so good as home pasties, admittedly. Some cube there vegetables, some mix it all up together, and others don t use good cuts of meat (often beaten out of recognition in so-called tenderising) if they used decent meat cut properly tenderising is totally unnecessary; tain t a pasty unless tis sliced veg and properly layered - well, not to me. I have had the best pasties anywhere for forty years, father-in-law, mother-in-law and wife all made them some ansom.
So, I can do un too, now. ::6:

By the way GMTV is coming to Penzance on either Wednesday or Thursday next week to film how a pasty is made in Rowe s bakery Causewayhead.

Time and effort well expended is always worth it. Too much rush and tear otherwise, and no satisfaction ... ephemeral sneezes.
