Morning exercise? PE and Games were introduced in state schools during the 1920's because of a conviction among social policy makers that the social benefits that they appeared to bestow on private school boys could also be experienced by working-class youth. Patronising or what?!

Very interesting to see that side of the building as it was before the school expanded out that way.
