1937 portrait

My grandfather and grandmother; photograph 1937. Back right, my aunt May, centre her fiance Albert Pascoe; left, my mother; she was a one for the boys, only too often she would have one boy waiting on one corner and another waiting somewhere else, then next day would say oh dear, I forgot our date . One occasion she had three dates at the same time, left them where they were, and went off to the Savoy, and met my father-to-be there; next day the others were miffed to see her on the arm of someone else.
Dammy!!! that s what my dad used to tell me!!! He said, I used to have one (girl) waiting at the top of the road, one at the bottom. Then run out to the back lane and go off with the other one!!! laugh# laugh# laugh# laugh# laugh# laugh# laugh# !!!
