The Newquay Budweiser K-Fest featured Meekyrosie among other bands and this shows Paul Knight-Malciak, from Penzance, on stage with the band. Paul Knight-Malciak often took on the role of lead singer for ballads, leaving the rest of the band to supply the instrumentals. He is capable of powerful, emotive, soulful vocals but often supplies harmonies. His guitar-playing talent has been used to lay down tracks for a French Pop Idol winner's album produced in Paris. He knows how to produce a Hendrix sound.
