This is a view of the new block at Penwith College, taken this morning, 24th October, 2009. The gulls seem to like it at least so I don't doubt that the roof will be white before long! If you view this building from St Michael's Mount, you'd be surprised how it dominates the town's skyline as the largest structure in Penzance. It reminds me of a grandstand in some huge sports stadium. Trying to look on the bright side, I hope it promotes greater learning and also wonder if it permits great panoramic views over the town.
