makes you wonder how the car is going to get out?....come on...some drivers may or may not be able to get out of that tight spot and they get cheaper insurance....just a thought...
They both belong to the same family!! I actually sent an email to the council problem, I ll fortward you a copy of the reply. Basically this does not come under their jurisdiction as no parking restrictions are in force, ie. yellow lines etc. The police are still responsible for pavement parking etc. They pass her loads of times day and night.
Any one walking or any parent with a young un in a pushchair will have to go out in the road to pass.....I don t think the drivers realize that they are putting peoples life s in danger when they park on pavements,they seem to be considerate to other drivers..... I ll pull in here on the pavement as though not to disturb the traffic too much! I ll only be a few mins
These are opposite me and park like this all the time, they have two others outside their gate, one of which is half on the pavement, and then inside the gates they have another 6 and a touring van. (just had a count) The council went there last year because a councilor raised the question that they were carrying on a business, they said they were nt and had three cars each!!!!!! Four people in the family. I ll put up a photo of the lot sometime.
No chance with this family, they re a law to themselves, The police are at fault, I ll put a reply I recieved for the Council Highways Dept. about parking here in the village. Unles people are nt on yellows etc. it s not up to them, the Police are the ones with power to book obstructions like this, and they pass here dozens of times a day and drive past, the same laws are in town and anywhere there is illegal parking.
