I seem to remember that the Cock family used to live here in the 50s and 60s or more at the bottom of New Street opposite Cherry Gardens. It would have looked out on prefabs opposite on our left where the residential home for the elderly[?] is now.
Wasn t the big double doors the entrance to a barn/building at the rear which was the short lived but popular El Greco club back in the early 60 s I remember going there nearly every night then it stopped!!!Man, that was the scene then. laugh# laugh#
