Mounts Bay.
Ruth
Ruth was built 1914 in Sweden;
based in the port of Fortuna she operated as a coastal trader for Hoganas.
She had an engine fitted in 1922.
She went on through WWII travelling to France and to Iceland.
She carried anything, sailing from Hampsburgsund, now a Baltic Trader.
She became laid up from 1957 and was found in 1964 and restored at Friedriksund, Denmark, and converted into a sailing ketch.
In 1984 she was burnt out in a stove accident.
The cabins were rebuilt as luxururious as could be.
In 1992 she was converted back to a Gaff Rig by new owners for charters and trips.
In 2004, she became Cornish owned.
