Remarkable ... mind you, the Germans were given a conducted tour of the Bay and Penzance, the year before war broke out, taking photographs and taking notes; but they still bombed the floating coal bunker in Newlyn and claimed a direct hit on a battleship!!
 
Over 800 bombs would be quite a dump .. no, they were concerted efforts to destroy confidence as well as intelligence posts and bases in this forward position on the Western Approaches.
