Good to see these after so many years; I was nigh 20 when I saw these last ... they were also used on the building on the bottom of The Caunced Way Head, on the left (now the HSBC building). There were a number of buildings in the group known as Market House with the Scrolls, the actual Market House was facing The Green Market.
Part of me is boiling at the sight of those nasty PVCu fittings - we always insisted on using moulded aluminium pipework, which was coated with an integral colour more suitable than nondescript grey, and looked like cast iron pipework. We even had our own specific moulding for the gutters (or rather, launders).
