Branwells Mill

Hi there everyone, this picture kindly supplied by Tommy and Rene Bennetts and it
shows Branwells Mill in all its glory. most of it has been knocked down and is now part
of Club 2k and a shared car park. And if you look in the back ground you can see the what is now the Longboat but used to be named the Railway Inn....WOW!
Only the two storey section next the road has been demolished, but the ground floor wall remains as the yard wall. The point where the archway met the main building wall is still there. Railway Inn was Stephens Hotel early on.

Branwells Mill Was T.F.Hoskings agricultural merchant, I used to slide down the sack shutes from the top to bottom of the building when my Father Sid Courtenay was a haulier working from there, the archway was the entrance for the lorries and the single storey building was the office

My father used to work in TF Hoskings - I remember Sid Courtenay. Salt of the earth.

I'm sure it was the Railway Hotel, the Railway Inn was around the corner, later changed to the Lamorna Inn
