Another probem that we may have to deal with onsite, is the matter of trademarks, as they are copyright also - not that any appear here, it is just that eg, there may be a mark of JV on a postcard for the Valentine series, and that is a registered trademark owned by the current owners of the Valentine photographs and postcards. We have a considerable amount of writing to do on these matters. Street photographs for example, can include many trademarks, but if they are not the full subject of the photograph that is ok, in the same way any trademark such as the Cornwall County Council Bezants shield must never be allowed to show on this site - the standard historic one (such as my avatar) is safe. Nice picture - so much more evocative than so many glossy postcards of the present day.
