10th May 2009; Carnsew Quay and Pool wall.
These are like no other set of quayside steps that I have seen. They must have a specific purpose, my guess is perhaps for barrels on and off the ship at high tide (the height of the bottom step). Any ideas? Have you seen the like anywhere else?
There was an office building to the right of the steps (only the front step remains).
