Causewayhead, according to the road signs at the top entrance, is a traffic free zone 10am - 4pm on Friday and Saturday. This photo proves otherwise. I spoke to the driver of the police vehicle who informed me that the onus was not on the police but on the shopkeepers to ensure the gate which prevents traffic from entering is closed. Today it wasn't and the police officer who obviously ignored the sign couldn't give a flying ferret's fit of
flatulence as to the stationary traffic jam with engines running, confronting him in this traffic free zone. If it's up to the shopkeeper behind the counter to be responsible for traffic control in Causewayhead what's the point of the cctv clamped to the outside wall of the Savoy cinema? Shouldn't it be the traffic warden's responsibility?
