Churchyard cross, Sancreed.

Churchyard cross, Sancreed.

This wheel cross head used to stand on the western boundary wall of Sancreed until the shaft was rescued by the vicar in 1881 during restoration of the church, having been found high up in the masonry of the eastern section of the south aisle and matched to the head perfectly. It was then set up so that both sides might be viewed in 1894.
