Today Harvey's World Travel closed it's doors for the last time Tuesday 16th December 2008. Harvey's started off as Pickfords Travel many years ago and some of the staff have worked with this company for 16 years or more.
You are so right, we never see the undercurrents; all this living on borrowed time and borrowed money, with unfounded dreams has the air of Cloud Cuckoo Land about it; my father always said that sooner or later the Bubble would burst, and the banks would Call the Tune for the Fools Dance.
