, I remember your brother caring for a fox (was it an orphaned cub? ), must have been nearly forty years ago, he was at Tregonebris at the time. It must run in the family.

@chill, Dave did have an orphan cub, but he was at Trengothal Farm which was in between St Buryan and St Levan. Through growing up he raised several orphans and injured animals from Dormice, Rooks, Jackdaws and a couple of seagulls, Mum and Dad never knew what we were coming home with. I suppose we both inspired from reading My family and Other Animals. To add a further twist, Dave is now a director of the Gerald Durrell School in Corfu.
