At the time when 'Madron in Penzance' and 'Penzance in Madron' appeared in documents. Wonderful find which I have no doubt the information was received by the historic division of the old PDC office with Great Apathy.

To be fair to them, I think apathy must have been too much trouble...

All of these reports and records are kept because the law demands it, not because they care .. when the local conservation officer made it clear that his knowledge of cob walling was nil, that was it for me... they neither know nor understand nor actually care. At least HES actually care, even if they do not have funding or staff.
