If we do the best with what we have been provided, we can do no more than is sensible and desirable, any more will be to someone s detriment, usually our own, as we struggle to pay for it, against the soaring budget for the home. Regrets have I none.
I remember as a youth, I had my eyes on a Hasselblad ... at about £3,000 then, it was proverbial cloud cuckoo land. I ended up eventually with a second hand Nikon, with lord knows how many attachments and a catadioptric lens; it weighs a ton, and my wrists cannot hold it, so I am now happy with my Fuji compacts, very light and very versatile.
Just checked - the MAXout is the 39Mp H3DII - yes 39 megapixels at £18,000, not what I would say is as expensive relatively as those in my youth. Pictures run at 250Mb.
