Big Sea on the Prom

This is a classic photo (I think I know who the photographer was), but the pose of the two ladies centre could not have been any better if this was a painting, it is exactly right full of excitement, anticipation and awe; one of my favourite photographs. I will check on date.

The photograph is dated 1914, just before war breaks out. I was given the name of the photographer some years ago, but no one appears to have claimed it, and so I am keeping quiet.

Nothing on this postcard mentions the photographer or a publisher. It s a shame if it cannot be shared here but so be it.
