I just looked out (5 to 10) and sure enough all those clouds have rolled back and there are stars in the sky. I should have taken note of the 'red at night...' maxim. However, the weather forecast this morning talked of rain reaching the south by the evening (they can't have meant the south west!) and I think the other two pics show better why I thought it a threatening sky.
