Not sure what you mean by leaden sea, more like a mercurial (quicksilver) sea. But I say as I did on one of Myke's excellent pictures, it is not only that there is magic to be seen, a person has to be there with a camera, and to have seen and felt that magic within and to record the magic. It is Synchronicity of the physical with the metaphysical transcendental. To be a part of that channelling is an experience beyond words. To have captured that micrososm of the ethereal is beyond description and transcends confinement. You become a part of the Cosmic Plan. A Peaceful Moment, At One with The Spirit.
Yes, a photograph may be the soul's response to seeing a moment of splendour or even a image of total sordidness but whatever it is, it's the result of a stirring of the emotion and an artist's eye maybe. I think that anyone who has a love of capturing a split second so as to relish it for longer or preserve it for others must be something of an aesthete.
Life has become a total distraction loaded with strife and trivia. The 'opium of the masses'. Beauty requires attention, whether in fury or quiet. Forget the knock on the door, be still. Look and Feel.
