St Michael's Cottages off New Street - Winners of the the Britain in Bloom competitions for a street display in the town - the work of those living in the houses. It's not the first time they have won.
This is precisely what I mean about a group of people joining together for the betterment of their community, well done. Cowell Drewitt and Wheatly designed this compact village. Some of my family lived here many years ago, and despite poverty they all worked together then as they do now.
