The Garrison - Bartholemew Battery; was originally with 2x9lb and 2x4lb; replaced with 3x18lb in 1850; guns now removed.
I will create a separate album for the cannon on St Mary's.
Across St Mary's Sound is the island of St Agnes. The high ground closest is Gugh, which becomes an island when the sand bar is covered.
I sat here for an hour, just taking in the scene, the sound of the birds and the realisation of the quiet, the peace and the sight of so many bees and butterflies.
That is 'chill music'.
