The Sycamores, Penzance

One of Oliver Caldwell's masterpieces.
I use to walk past here on the way to school over 40years ago and thought that one day it would be great to live here,ah well dream on! sad#

We can all dream ... dreams get us through the realities. A person with money and no vision is the less wealthy than a man with vision and dreams with no money.

Does anyone know ownership details of the Sycamores from say 1950's?

Also I may have got my Sycamores and my Sunnysides in a mix! I know the Simpson family owned the property currently housing the doctors offices on the road which leads off from Alexandra Road because I once worked for Harold Morrison and Dentist whose wife was a Simpson. The thought their house was called Sycamores but maybe I'm having a 'senior moment'!

Good Grief, not only am I having a senior moment my typing skills leave a lot to be desired judging by the typos in the last post!!!

I can only remember the Cattrans owned the building from the 1980s. I do remember a sweet lady named Bona that lived in the building. I added a note on Western Union Telegraph office, as to Hawkins Road.
