Albert Buildings [bottom of Bull's Lane(Taroveor Road)/top of Adelaide Street]. Built by Perkins, Caldwell and Caldwell c1885. Detailing is the same as for Albert Terrace, except the Lion Head motif was not used. There used to be Nigh's Store in Nr1, a grocer on the corner Nr 2and3; Nr 4 was a Riding Tack shop, with a leatherworker (saddler) that was so very talented. Nr 5 was a household store; Nr 6 is a hair salon now. In 1878 there were small cottages and a large greenhouse on this site.
