Off Wharf Road. Back from the Shopping Precinct (stifled laughs), there is the fenced off area of the old Gas Works site, this was the reinforced wall to face off one of the original cliff faces (before time began). I will see if I can post up a larger map of the gas Site as it was.
All I have seen are the etchings (as it were) and I have posted all of these on Picture Penzance. The majority of cliffs were covered in and Wharf Road built, with the infill land, before the advent of the camera.
