There was not an original colour scheme, the board states it is the original building but it is not, though a great deal of the fabric remains, this frontage was new in the sight of Courtney c1850; I have already uploaded the picture from 1897; my uncle states it held the same colour scheme until he became a painter, which was in the 1920s, and that was a deep blue columns and features, with cream walls. The board also claims some think it was the manor house of the district (here is one that does not). I am trying to track down more detail as I go along. Bear with me ... The colours are as now, and I am rather displeased with them, even though the frontage is c1850.
