Vehicle runs out of juice, ends up on Battery Rocks?
How long has this been here? Plated suspension has been 'out of fashion' for some time, I imagine? How on earth did it get here? Any ideas of what type of vehicle?
Well if it is then it could well be the rear suspension of any number of cars.....as nearly all had leaf suspension up until then...
We need a better image to study
Looking at old photos they look about the size that would be used on a dog cart (pulled by a horse!) . They are not a full width spring as would be used, these are more quarter eliptical . All carriages seem to have a full spring with full width axle to avoid twist and often back to back using two.??????????
