An Ice Night for a Walk

I lived at Alverton many many years ago and can hardly ever remember seeing a covering of snow.Many thanks for braving the elements to take these photos.Up here in the northern dales ,we currantly have 18 inches of snow laying so i guess you could say i am making up for the lack of snow as a child!

I have a friend in The Dales, so have an idea of just what you have there. There is/was talk about this cold spell lasting for three weeks, but I know what happens in Cornwall. It either drifts or melts. It was feeling decidedly warmer than it has been, so I thought best to get out. Obviously up on the hills it is a different story.
