Thank you .. this bollard is a part of the convulsion that was at the birth of this world as we think it exists. It was carved and positioned to aid our massive industry that was, it was at the birth of our port. It has been re-positioned, due to alterations to suit flagging energies of motorists, it has been worn and shaped further by ropes upon ropes, and over the years it has become home to millions of one of Nature's most complex of life forms. To me it is wonderful.
