I have an incredible file of letters for the building of the Hotel (first); we also did a lot of work for Mr Neve Hill, but thankfully I can state that we had nothing to do with the monster that has blemished this cliff. All that outstanding natural beauty and area of special scientific interest means is that it takes longer to destroy and develop and it costs more to live there. Nothing in this Green and Pleasant Land is protected.
