PZ 101 Children's Friend

After three years of trying to get a clear view of her, she has been brought out from being hidden deep amongst other vessels, further along the quay.

12th December 1968 there was a vessel ON 308763 Children's Friend PZ 64. This is not that vessel.
It appears that this vessel was built as Sunbeam III LH215, built Weatherhead Cockenzie 1938.
Appeared in Newlyn approximately 1978 as FD225, a decommissioned gill netter.
Converted to a lugger by William Stevenson as PZ101 and named Childrens Friend.
The date relates no doubt to the Cancellation of the Register Certificate for
Porthleven built (1968) PZ 64 Children's Friend on 17th October 1986.
