The Coastguard Lookout.
Built 1912, and in use during WWII.
For several years it was used for training coastguards.
1935 The National Trust acquired Mayon cliff (in part).
Acquisition was completed in 1964.
The lookout was refurbished in 1998 and is now a
National Trust Information centre.
