Borough Stores - Belgravia Street

The old Bodilly Borough Stores, which face on to Belgravia street, off Bread Street, built 1837. This was a thriving centre of supply, and later formed a part of the Margarine Factory - The Duchy Margarine Company. See the other drawings for details.
The developers state that this was Knight s Warehouse and the section that they are developing was Primrose Dairies; my memory of Knight s Warehouse was in the back of High Street, and ran through to Causewayhead ... any ideas or memories, please? I remember this building to have been used by a printers (Headland?), a cycle/engineer shop and the Liberal Party.

part of the buliding on the top end was used by the job centers y t s to learn a trade i was there for a year and they ::15:
gave me a bag of tools some cash when i left

I remember Headland Printers there, and the bottom one was Penwith Cycles, Dave the prop. moved to the Old Sail Loft in new Street where I think he still is.

Lost touch with him when I stopped buying bikes for the kids as they got older. read#
